CPL – Cost Per Lead
Cost per Lead (CPL) is a term that describes a payment for a lead, in campaigns in which the user takes a certain action in an advertiser’s website or portal. One of the common actions carried out by users is clicking, and then filling out a form on an advertising company’s website specifically designed for the ad campaign’s goals. Each referral that is received from the form is called a lead, and that lead will be followed up with additional contacts with the objective of turning the lead into a paying customer.
