Top Upcoming SEO & Digital Marketing Events for 2019

Attending marketing events is one of the most efficient ways to fine tune you or your staff’s SEO and SEM knowledge and strategies. There are many excellent conferences around the world deserving of your attention, but now half the year is gone. So, here is a short list of future events we believe are well worth investing your time and resources in. In today’s fast-moving digital world, being behind the learning curve is just not acceptable.

IMPACT Live

August 6 -7 in Hartford, Connecticut, IMPACT Live is arguably the most immersive digital marketing event of the year. The premise of this marketing workshop is simple, to embed the attendee in an actionable series of learning experiences where a basic framework of success is played out. Experts in the industry impart proven strategies for gaining marketing trust, developing content that drives sales, video for driving trust and brand, Facebook marketing, conversational marketing and much more. INBOUND 2019

Inbound 2019 is one of the largest digital marketing conferences of the year. It takes place this September 3 through 6 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. It’s an occasion to meet stellar international speakers and out-of-the-box thinkers whose expertise defines modern marketing models and strategies. It addresses marketers, salespeople, and customer success professionals. This year, the speaker lineup includes HubSpot founders Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah, Reddit co-founder Alex Ohanian, legendary journalist Katie Couric, best selling author Elizabeth Gilbert, and many others. Prices start at $199 for a community pass and end at $2,199 for a full access power pass.

Content Marketing World 2019

In 2018, 3,700+ marketers from over 50 countries attended this huge content marketer meetup. Running from September 6th through 9th at the  Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, Ohio the Content Marketing World 2019 event will once again be about hands-on workshops and forums, massive networking, and insights from the industry’s smartest leaders. Advanced Search Summit D.C.

Running September 19th and 20th at the W Hotel in Washington, the Advanced Search Summit D.C. will serve digital marketing and search professionals industry luminaries, industry experts, and partners who know the “now” of advanced search. Named one of Forbes Magazine’s “must attend” conferences, Pubcon is at the Las Vegas Convention Center October 7-10. Unlike most of the other marketing and SEO conferences, this meetup has a more international flavour and focuses on new technology, optimization, online studies, and game-changing marketing ideas from around the world. resented by the world’s top new innovators. This year is the 19th iteration of Pubcon which will feature all the usual suspects plus world-class keynote speakers from SurveyMonkey, Google, and many more. Top companies exhibit, and there are many associated networking and meetup possibilities. UnGagged

Running November 7th and 8th at Convene at 333 South Grand Avenue in Los Angeles, this unique event was created to foster openness and transparency. The UnGagged founders developed their idea based on the fact that many SEOs and Digital Marketers were missing the opportunity to share their candid tips and advice with fellow entrepreneurs and leaders on account of conferences being recorded. Speakers so far include Brent Csutoras of Search Engine Journal, and SEO guru Bruce Clay. UnGagged bans all recording devices in the hall so that experts can speak candidly about tips and so forth. Topics will include SEO, SEM, content, links, mobile, and social media. Early bird tickets start at $999 dollars.

SMX® East

Billed as the world’s largest search engine marketing conference, SMX® East is part expo, part deep dive into SEM. It is one of the only such conferences devoted solely to search marketing and run by experts outside the vending arena. SMX is programmed by the team at Search Engine Land, arguably the most important search marketing publication in the world. Keynote speakers will include Frederic Dubut – Bing, Senior Program Manager, and Christi Olson – Microsoft, Head of Evangelism for Search, and others.  The conference is slated to run November 13th and 14th at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. Early bird all access tickets run from $1395 dollars.

Growth Marketing Conference

On December 10th and 11th at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, Growth Marketing Conference 2019 will feature Ken Rudin, Head of User Growth and Analytics, Google as one keynote speaker. Also, speaking will be Ali Wiezbowski – Head of Driver Engagement. Product Marketing at Uber; Microsoft’s Alex Toledo Leite; and Jon Chang of IBM Watson, among others. The Growth Marketing Conference is a globally-focused event for B2B and B2C growth marketers. 2000+ attendees are expected this year. Tickets start at $850 dollars for teams of three or more.

Of course, there are many other conferences and meetups at a regional level, many more affordable. But, to stay ahead of the curve, these are the best and most mediatized to attend in the second half of 2019.
