A link building strategy is designed to create strong, advantageous links to a website, in order to promote it within the different search engine specifications, particularly Google.

The landing page is a website that users will come across after they click a link on a website or click on an ad banner. The landing page can be the advertiser’s homepage, or a web page that consists of marketing information specifically promoting an exclusive product or service.

The origin of the term ‘Lead’ is from the marketing field, in which contacts are ‘marked’ as potential customers, kept on a lead list to be followed up frequently. These reactions are expected to ‘lead’ to a sale.

Lead generation is the marketing method of receiving information for the purpose of expanding the scope of a business, increasing sales revenues by having potential customers inquiries, looking for a job or for new clients or conducting specialized research.

One of the most common and time-honored methods for website promotion is link exchange. A designated link on a certain page when clicked will redirect users to a different internet page on the same site or on an external site.

Long tail terms, originally used in the world of mathematics and statistics, are search query phrases that consist of 2, 3 or more words – read and reacted to by search engines. Usually, the volume of results using longer queries such as these are usually lower, which is why in order to promote the website, it’s advisable to integrate the long tail terms into the website’s content and code in order to attract targeted traffic to the website.
