Banners

A banner is an advertisement space that appears in a website or portal. Banners can be created using text, images (.JPG), flash movies, video or simple animations. It’s possible to purchase banners in various sizes and place them throughout a website.

Costs vary depending on size, prime placement and traffic. A click on the banner will take users to either a dedicated landing page, to the website of the company that has commissioned the advertisement or to another page within the same website.

In large portals there will be a selection of banner opportunities at various prices and with various options including banners that pop up in a new window, a banner that opens up, a banner that may be nested within the content of the page, a banner head along the top of the page with prime visibility, and more.
